We are currently hiring a Mechanical Draftsman for our Engineering Department. We offer an awesome benefits package, no mandatory weekend work, clean environment, and opportunities for advancement!
Hours: Full-time salary, Mon-Fri; 40 hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Documents and updates mechanical systems for environmental test chambers.
- Designs sheet metal parts & fabricated frames, builds assemblies and associated drawings using engineering best practices.
- Understands Bill of Material structures and basic ERP function.
- Understands and uses PDCA of lean problem solving process.
- Follows engineering group procedures and ISO standards.
- Ability to design for manufacturability within the limitations of our manufacturing facility and affiliates.
- Works under supervision.
- Regular, physical attendance is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Engineering degree: Associate’s preferred, currently enrolled in a degree program is acceptable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficient using Inventor.
