Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides expert mentorship and coaching to Field Technicians/Installation Technicians.
- Goes above and beyond to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Builds strong relationships with RSMs, Sales Reps, and Inside Sales team members.
- Effectively troubleshoots and resolves problems with minimal supervision.
- Leads and supervises teams at customer sites, ensuring project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Frequently reads and interprets refrigeration and electrical prints/drawings.
- Repairs and adjusts refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
- Performs proper evacuation processes of refrigeration systems.
- Performs proper charge/re-charge of both high and low stage refrigeration systems.
- Performs start-up, operation, and maintenance training for customers on new equipment at their facility.
- Provides calibration services for all ENA and ESPEC Corp equipment, adhering to ISO/IEC 17025 and ensuring data accuracy.
- Leverages product knowledge to effectively promote ESPEC products and services and provide tailored solutions to customers.
- Completes and returns refrigerant usage tickets.
- Travels to and from job sites, as assigned by the manager.
- Coordinates travel arrangements using the company approved travel provider/system.
- Extensive travel (regional, domestic, and international) is required.
- Communicates daily with the manager regarding job progress and any schedule updates.
- Completes expense reports for all expenditures.
- Submits detailed service reports after each job, including travel/labor hours, work performed, job status, and customer signature.
- Arrives at the pre-determined job site on the date and time provided by the Service Manager.
- Implements engineering-approved system changes.
- Returns parts from the field.
- Prepares for the next assignment by researching what must be done to complete the job.
- Presents him/herself professionally and acts in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Reads manuals on unfamiliar equipment to gain a better understanding.
- Cleans work area, cleans and maintains service van, machines, tools, and equipment.
- Assists Production as needed upon request.
- Completes ongoing safety training.
- Operates efficiently and effectively with minimal direct supervision.
- Regular,physical attendance is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- A minimum of 2 years college or trade school is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the refrigeration industry required.
- Must be highly skilled in brazing and soldering techniques.
- Previous experience brazing/soldering/welding ferrous and non-ferrous materials required.
- Refrigerant charging and recovery experience required.
- Electrical knowledge in high, low, and control voltage desired.
- Previous customer service experience desired.
- Must be able to read and interpret refrigeration and electrical prints/drawings.
