About The Role
The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is a high-impact and high-visibility role focused on bringing Esper’s core products to market and positioning Esper as the leader in our industry. You’ll establish positioning, work on packaging, build solutions pages, and create GTM strategies in partnership with our Revenue Team. We’re looking for a self-starter who is able to take initiative in solving problems, leading projects, and collaborating with other GTM team members. The ideal candidate is analytical, enjoys technical solutioning, has strong communications skills, and is inclined to dive deep to build product expertise. You’ll work closely with our Product Management and Sales Engineering team to learn the intricacies of our product and how we position ourselves uniquely in the marketplace.

What You'll Be Doing
- Work with Product Marketing and Product Management leadership to launch new products to market
- Develop GTM positioning and messaging for Esper’s core and add-on products in concert with our partner ecosystem
- Influence product strategy with market insights through regular market assessments and competitive intelligence analysis
- Refine Esper’s personas and deeply understand Esper’s ideal customer profile (ICP). Train both internal and external stakeholders on Esper’s unique value proposition (i.e. positioning and messaging training and enablement support)
- Develop compelling product training, presentations, and product demos for various audiences (e.g. internal sales teams, external sales teams, partner sales teams, etc.)
- Assist with analyst relations, customer advisory board, and demand generation programs
- Partner closely with the Sales Enablement and Partner Marketing teams to showcase how product updates impact various verticals and use cases
- Become a product expert. You will deeply understand how Esper uniquely addresses customer needs, making it your main goal to express that value in compelling messaging for external and internal audiences
- Meet regularly with customer-facing teams to build trusting relationships and determine the effectiveness of messaging
- Travel (up to 20%) to visit customers and partners, assess the market, attend industry conferences, etc.
- 5 years of Product Marketing and/or Product Management experience
- Demonstrated experience working with a technical SaaS product
- Experience marketing to a technical audience (i.e. CIO, CTO, CISO, IT/Dev/Sec Ops)
- Startup company experience with demonstrated progression as a high-performing individual contributor in Product Marketing and/or Product Management
- Experience moving initiatives forward across cross-functional teams
- Able to make decisions independently, with a bias for action

- Being the technical representative of the company in front of partners, customers, and/or industry analysts
- Marketing to an enterprise-sized organizations to/with channel partners
