In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our HR operations run smoothly while fostering an environment of compliance, equity, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compensation Compliance (in collaboration with the Finance Department)
✔ Manage payroll processing in ADP, ensuring accuracy in salary adjustments, garnishments, and timekeeping.
✔ Ensure compliance with FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) and labor laws regarding wages, overtime, and exempt/non-exempt status.
✔ Resolve payroll discrepancies, manage tax documentation, and maintain audit-ready records.
Leave Management & FMLA Administration
✔ Administer and track FMLA, ADA, and other leave policies, ensuring employees receive timely support.
✔ Guide employees and managers through leave eligibility, accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
✔ Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal policies.
Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations
✔ Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
✔ Partner with hiring managers to ensure fair, legally compliant hiring practices.
✔ Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and onboarding to create a seamless hiring experience.
✔ Address workplace concerns, conduct employee relations investigations, and support conflict resolution.
HR Compliance & Policy Implementation
✔ Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and other employment laws.
✔ Assist in updating and maintaining the employee handbook and HR policies.
✔ Conduct HR audits and provide training on HR compliance topics.
Benefits Administration & Employee Support
✔ Support employees with benefits enrollment, payroll inquiries, and leave management.
✔ Track time-off balances, PTO accruals, and compliance with paid leave laws.
✔ Assist with HR projects related to compensation structures and benefits administration.
Event & Project Support
✔ Organize HR training sessions, workshops, and employee appreciation events.
✔ Lead and assist with HR audits, government reporting, and compliance initiatives.
What You Bring
✅ Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of HR experience, including payroll processing, leave management, and compliance.
- Experience using ADP or other payroll systems (required).
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.
✅ Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage laws.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Working Conditions
