Espinoza Cable Construction is looking to add directional drill operator and locator for telecom construction to our team.
Directional drill operator and locator position available to run Ditch Witch JT20 with Subsite electronics.
This is all outdoors work and is physically demanding. Full time position 5-6 days a week with opportunity for overtime, some night shifts. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
We work in all aspects of the outside plant telecommunications construction industry. Including trenching and excavating, asphalting, concrete finishing, pulling fiber and copper HDD drilling.
Must have clean driving record. Class A a plus.
Underground Experience- setting vaults, trenching, potholing utilities, setting up temporary traffic control, raking asphalt, finishing concrete, skid steer and mini excavator operator, drill operator and locator, rocksaw operator.
Responsibilities
- Operate directional drilling equipment and heavy machinery, including excavators and loaders, to execute drilling projects efficiently.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare construction sites for drilling operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and communicate project progress.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Drive commercial vehicles as needed to transport equipment and materials to job sites.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
