Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant to the Wellness & Court Sports Director. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our busy spa and fitness departments with additional administrative responsibilities related to court sports. The ideal candidate will support the Director in delivering exceptional service and fostering a positive environment for both staff and community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all members, guests and staff.
- The ideal candidate must be polished and professional, demonstrating a high level of sophistication and decorum in all interactions.
- Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and coordinating wellness and spa programs.
- Supervise and lead a team of front desk specialists along with spa and salon providers
- Manage schedules and appointments using Club Essentials and Mindbody.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and external partners to provide information and support.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the Director in budget management and financial reporting.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous successful experience with Spa and Wellness departments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Technologically savvy and a quick learner.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive and upbeat mindset, with a passion for fostering great relationships among staff and community members.
- CPR and First Aid certification is desirable.
