The Senior Creative Producer is responsible for developing and executing the creative vision across various platforms. This role focuses on streamlining workflows, enhancing content distribution efficiency, and fostering collaboration among creative teams.
This position plays a key role in the Visual Storytelling division of ESPN Creative Studio. The team is responsible for creating and optimizing new and innovative workflows across digital, streaming, broadcast, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Director and Sr Director to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Create new processes and strategies to increase efficiency and accuracy in content distribution.
- Lead discovery, process-mapping, and stakeholder communication for optimization projects.
- Conduct research and analyze project takeaways in an accessible format.
- Evaluate existing workflows, tools, and software to identify areas for technical integration.
- Organize and run stakeholder meetings, setting clear agendas and goals.
- Develop forecasts and build long-term plans with senior staff.
- Maintain adherence to established department procedures.
- Motivate and direct a team or individual designers, animators, editors, and others assigned to a project.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of digital experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Understanding of process-mapping and visualizing workflows.
- User research or stakeholder interview experience.
- Ability to communicate complex processes effectively.
- Experience with project management and workflow mapping tools.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ESPN distribution points.
- Familiarity with the sports DTC industry and ESPN's place within it.
- General technical knowledge and some coding experience.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or above.
This role requires a strong understanding of the sports media landscape and experience working with diverse teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills.
