Overview
As a Project Civil Engineer, you will be an integral member of our team, working on a variety of civil engineering projects for our private and public sector clients.
On land development projects you will be involved in the planning, design and permitting phases, working to solve problems, reduce risks and costs, optimize performance, and satisfy client needs. You will work with a wide range of clients on various project types, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments. You will develop and review all design aspects of projects, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utility layout. By interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you will assist in guiding projects through the conceptual and design phases, as well as the regulatory review process and site construction.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in land development
B.S. in Civil Engineering
Illinois Professional Engineering License (P.E.), or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hiring
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to communicate and write professionally
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business relationships
