Design Engineer - Senior Project Engineer - Civil Engineer

Our client is looking for an innovative and driven Senior Project Engineer to join our growing company. This individual will work closely with our client and internal staff to drive our projects forward to completion. We are a young and dynamic company and are looking for a passionate individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who is willing to do what it takes to support our growth.
Responsible for all Civil Engineering tasks including but not limited to :
- Lead and manage construction document preparation including drawings, project specifications, and cost estimates for clients such as the Illinois Tollway, IDOT, and local municipalities and counties
- Work with other managers, engineers, and staff to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery plans
- Develop scope and level of effort estimates for project negotiations
- Perform regular design reviews with staff
- Develop and implement project design workflows to ensure consistent high-quality project delivery
- Mentor junior-level staff to expand their capabilities
