Job Title: Machine Shop CNC Operator - 2nd Shift
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Job Type and Duration: Direct Hire or Contract to Hire
Pay range: $24 - $26/hr plus shift differential
Hours: Mon - Fri; 4pm - 12am (OT as needed)
Employee is responsible for machining parts to the customer’s expectations. These expectations are communicated through the blueprints and work instructions. When the employee identifies an issues with the product produced, they are responsible for notifying the Machine Shop Setup Person or the Machine Shop Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Interprets simple prints and specifications.
2. Machine product using various machine types.
3. Responsible for inspecting work to maintain quality and production standards in all work completed.
4. Assists with training other team members as needed.
5. Services machines as required and performs other related activities as required by the department supervisor.

It is necessary that this employee sees clearly including close vision and be able to adjust focus. Must have good motor skills and hand to eye coordination. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, and/or hear. Must be able to stand, bend, reach and count at a work station and walk in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to grasp and work with small parts. Must be able to read fine print at times. Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position works in the manufacturing facility with extreme temperatures depending on weather and where the noise level is sufficient to require hearing protection as well as other safety equipment as needed.

- A high school diploma or equivalent, and 3-5 years machine shop experience is required; technical certification is preferred.
