Job Description:
- Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks
- Install and configure networking hardware (Cisco and Palo Alto)
- Provision and manage Internet circuits (DIA\Broadband) for field offices
- Design and coordinate implementation of the cable plant for field offices
- Travel to field office for network implementation
- Process network maintenance renewals
- Manage network support issues within ticketing system
- Have knowledge of new IT Infrastructure technologies, processes, methodologies and best practices
- Manage infrastructure projects, including gathering requirements, design, build, implementation and project management
- Perform post-implementation follow-ups to ensure infrastructure stability

Skills/Competencies
- Solid background in network administration and configuration (switches outers)
- Understanding of network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-IOS)
- Understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. LogicMonitor)
- Sharp troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge and understanding of industry best practices and methodologies
- understanding of project delivery within an Agile framework
- An understanding of the strategic impacts of enterprise initiatives, the supporting IT systems and architecture.
- Ability to facilitate the integration of all infrastructure technologies that will support the global reach of the Parsons enterprise.
- Written and oral communication skills appropriate to communicate with a wide variety of individuals (employees and all levels of management) throughout the organization and outside of the organization (i.e. clients, vendors)
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction or oversight.
- Preferred experience with scripting and automation (e.g Python, Ansible)
- Preferred experience with SDWAN technology
