Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Analyze, design or modify parts for various applications using NX and AutoCad.
- Support manufacturing to include preparation of necessary documents (drawings, BOMs, Work Instructions).
- Support manufacturing by responding to process questions and providing required information.
- Prepare drawings for prototypes or customer required modifications.
- Ensure that the design complies with all manufacturer and government requirements
- Design and improvement of armor systems and automotive components
- Design armor parts for prototyping and installation on a specific project.
Experience, Skills & Abilities:
- NX modeling experience required
- Assembly & work instruction experience required
- Digitizing and AutoCAD experience a plus
- Must be PC proficient
- Must be detail oriented and results driven
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Lean manufacturing experience a plus
