SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Our global EPC Firm client is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for contract opportunity in Kansas City, MO.
The Senior Finance Analyst will be a resource that helps support the Accounting/Finance department in various accounting or financial systems projects/tasks including accounting processes, documentation of current and future accounting processes, analyzing system requirements, troubleshooting system issues and involved in implementations to support the overall organization. This role will be diverse depending on the needs of the department due to ERP transformation project, initiatives that involve financial needs, and other improvements/accounting tasks that need additional resources.
Primary areas supported include (but not limited to) general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, expense reports, fixed assets, project costing, project billing and project forecasting, international subsidiaries, and payroll.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute accounting tasks or working with teams to complete deliverables
- Gather and document functional business processes and requirements and propose possible improvements
- Serve as liaison between the Accounting/Finance business and IT that understands the business and technical side of projects
- Develop and execute detailed test scripts for validating system solution
- Create the training materials and present training for end-users
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or information technology or related field
- Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or financial systems.
- Ability to work well with various levels and within team environment
- Experience with system implementations preferred.
- Experience with Oracle applications specifically Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud preferred.
- SQL and/or business analyst experience a plus.
- Self-motivated and good organizational skills.
- Able to creatively analyze and solve problems independently.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
