Location: Fairland, IN – Travel required – job sites vary (Must reside in Central Indiana)

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Development Construction Superintendent to join their team. This role serves as the site manager for heavy civil construction projects, including mass excavation, trenching and shoring, utility installation, wastewater treatment systems, and bridge construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development and environmental construction, with the ability to independently manage projects from start to finish. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Independently manage projects from start to completion
- Supervise, mentor, and manage on-site employees
- Develop and implement labor and production schedules
- Maintain scope of work within estimate and budget
- Act as site safety officer when needed
- Document daily and weekly project activities
- Maintain strong client relationships and resolve issues professionally
- Track and log labor, equipment hours, completed quantities, and other job site activities
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of all onsite equipment
- Travel as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Working knowledge of earth-moving equipment
- Valid Driver's License (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Goal-oriented and detail-driven
- Professional demeanor
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in site development or heavy excavation construction
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
