Our client, a National Telecommunications Provider, is looking to add a Construction Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Atlanta, GA.
This person will be doing audits in the field about 70% of the time - Rural Broadband.
The construction coordinator is responsible for the job creation workflow, milestone management of construction projects, and the administrative quality control of jobs. Capital construction project management.
Duties include:
- Manage and track Milestones
- Create jobs in JT/Polaris
- Issue Jobs to design
- Manage job through full lifecycle updating milestones in JT/Polaris
- Handle exceptions to the life cycle SLAs
- Reconcile jobs (office)
- Liaise with Stakeholders
- Point of contact for all internal cross-functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales
- Provide reporting for next-level management
- Identify Resources
- Create and approve the funding request
- Material management and reconciliation
- Research contracts and agreements
- Manage funding request/purchase order
- Responsible for job estimate(finance)
- Manage and Analyze Quality control Flow
- Manage quality control workflow
- Validate that the field quality control is performed
- Pull reports/provide feedback based on analysis of reports
- Interact with other roles, including specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones have been closed
- Conduct admin and Milestone Quality Control
- Follow the admin QC checklist (materials, invoice, pictures, footage)
- Validate permit is closed
- The final invoice milestone is set
- Ensure all milestones are updated
- Close jobs
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of Construction Coordination Experience
- Strong Time Management Skills
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- Fiber and/or CoAx experience a must
- Construction experience a must
- Cable Maintenance Technician experience a plus
