What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Crib Attendant position at ESPO Corporation?
Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant
Location: Gurnee area
Job Type and Duration: Contract to hire (approximately 6 months)
Pay rate: $20 - $22/hr
1st shift: 6 am - 2:30 pm (M - F) OT as needed
The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for making sure that our shop has the supplies it needs to run effectively and efficiently. This person supplies our welders/fitters with welding wire and gases. This individual is also responsible for tracking and ordering shop tools, supplies and consumables; along with occasionally making deliveries to jobsites and picking up supplies.
Primary Responsibilities:
*Daily checks of shop welding wire and gases, ordering as needed.
*Loading/Securing empty gas bottles on to forklifts and driving them to Airgas to be swapped out for full bottles. (This includes both North and South side of street.)
*Issues tools to employees and maintains records of tools issued using google docs.
*Collecting issued tools upon an employee's departure.
*Tracking frequency of shop consumables and equipment using google docs or other formats.
*Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
*Inspects equipment for defects and wear, visually reports damage to supervisors.
*Maintain organization and cleanliness of tool crib.
*Picks field bolt lists for delivery and shop bolts for fabrication.
