Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet & Logistics Dispatcher to oversee the daily dispatch operations of our trucking fleet, including dump trucks, roll-offs, and other heavy vehicles used for site work. This role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination of trucking logistics, maintaining DOT compliance, and supporting the overall efficiency of our fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch Coordination
- Schedule and dispatch trucks to construction and job sites, ensuring optimal routes and timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Monitor daily schedules and adjust as needed for delays, changes, or emergencies.
- DOT Compliance
- Ensure all drivers and vehicles comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Fleet Support & Maintenance Logistics
- Assist with organizing and scheduling vehicle maintenance and repairs to reduce downtime.
- Track vehicle usage, fuel logs, mileage, and service intervals.
- Coordinate with mechanics and vendors for timely service.
- Ticket & Load Management
- Collect, organize, and verify truck tickets for billing and job tracking.
- Assist with load tracking, weight limits, and site requirements.
- Communication & Reporting
- Serve as a liaison between drivers, project managers, and field supervisors to streamline operations.
- Maintain dispatch records, incident reports, and other related documents.
- Provide regular status updates to management regarding fleet and logistical operations.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in dispatching trucks or heavy equipment, preferably in construction or site work
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- CDL experience or background in trucking operations is a bonus
