Dates: June and July (Closed June 30 -July 4)
About Us:
Espree Child Learning Center is a small, private preschool dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children. During the summer, we offer a fun-filled program that includes daily swimming activities and lessons.
Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and attentive Lifeguard to oversee our preschoolers during our swimming sessions. Our swimming sessions take place in our private pool and have 10-12 children ranging in age from 3-12 years old. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, patient, and enjoy working with young children.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor children during pool activities to ensure a safe environment
- Enforce pool safety rules and respond quickly to emergencies
- Organize swimming lessons and activities
- Perform basic first aid and CPR if needed
- Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure smooth transitions in and out of the pool area
Qualifications:
- Current Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross or equivalent)
- CPR and First Aid Certification (for infants and children)
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Reliable, punctual, and patient
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time hours, typically 5 days per week, 4-5 hours per day (approximately 9:00AM- 1:00PM)
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
