Baristas at Espresso Cielo have enthusiasm for the culture of specialty coffee. We recognize the creativity of pouring the perfect shot of espresso and pouring latte art. Spending your day being creative with coffee adds up to an amazing way to spend your day. You bring coffee to the level of a culinary art. We are known for the best tasting coffee roasted by 49th Parallel Roasters coffee.

Espresso Cielo has built a community around customer service, great espresso drinks, pulling perfect shots of espresso, pouring latte art and knowing our customers need for consistency in their experience with our coffee. We are always geared up to meet their expectations.

You must be capable of working with equipment specific to Specialty Coffee and cafes. You will be on your feet for many hours, as a team or alone, sometimes lifting 25 – 40 lbs. You must have a sense of urgency about your role within the organization, pitching-in where needed without being asked, anytime on your shift. As other baristas watch your back to see what you need, you will see what they need to do their job as well. Food Handlers permit or Serv-Safe Certificate is mandatory within 30 days

This job requires you to know or learn how to pull the perfect shot of espresso and pour latte art. We offer training and what's needed to improve your skills if you are still working on them. We all work together as a team whether it is opening, closing or cleaning the cafe or washing dishes. We all share the work and we work as a team to bring a great experience to anyone walking in the door, as well as for a great day working with each other. We are open 7 days a week and holidays. Our shifts cover every day of the week and weekends. You will be asked to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays.

Experience:

• supervisor or management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Specialty Coffee: 2 years (Required)
