Position Overview:
Espy Lumber is seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to generate lumber, building material, and millwork sales from builders, remodeler, and homeowner customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing LBM and millwork sales
- Perform customer needs assessments
- Work closely with Espy Lumber Sales Support Team
- Must be able to create accurate framing, siding, roofing, trim, and window/door material take-offs
- Conduct on-site measures and field problem resolution
- Complete order with customer and vendor
- Provide customer service and follow through after the sale
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years directly related experience selling lumber, building materials, and millwork products
- Self-motivated, organized, and customer service oriented
- Strong computer and CRM system knowledge
- Effectively communicate with customers and internal support staff
- Ability to initiate a project from quote, to ordering, and through purchasing while keeping customer informed along the way
- Must be an exceptional critical thinker to anticipate/identify/resolve potential issues through sales cycle
