THE ROLE : The HR / Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for providing HR assistance and confidential administrative support to the Human Resources Department. As a member of our team, you will also be responsible for providing HR support to our employees and our management team.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and administer onboarding path and career journey for organization.
- Conduct New Hire Orientations for PGA employees.
- Crafting and sending communication with information about the company, policies & procedures, onboarding, training, equipment, dress code, parking options.
- Ensuring new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware / software and distribute manuals, passwords, and guidelines, as needed.
- Coordinating onboarding presentations and occasionally hosting orientation sessions as needed.
- Aligning new employees with hiring managers and Operations staff and communicating involvement procedures.
- Identifying innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees and reach more scalable and measurable onboarding experience.
- Preparing and distributing onboarding welcome gifts.
- Assist with employee relations for the PGA facility.
- Verify I-9 documentation and submit documents via E-Verify for employment eligibility.
- Administer Access Cards to all PGA new hires and initiate recovery for PGA separations.
- Initiate equipment recovery process from separated PGA employees.
- Back-up to process worker's compensation claims and maintains OSHA 300 Logs.
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like employee surveys and culture building activities.
- Coordinate special events planning for PGA location (Birthdays, Holidays, Special events).
- Act as point of contact for newly hired and newly onboarded employees.
