Overview

In this position, you will be actively involved in ensuring the usability, quality, and functionality of ArcGIS to support realistic workflows and use cases. You will work to identify and define customer requirements and build and release high quality software.

This team supports the ArcGIS Aviation product. You will be part of a talented cross-functional team of dynamic and passionate engineers to deliver capabilities that enable our customers to make a difference in communities around the world. You will be part of a team that influences lasting contributions for communities with the web and mobile applications you create.

The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. We break ground in new markets, push the technology envelope, and ultimately deliver transformational solutions to high profile clients worldwide. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly 1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our users be successful.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to product design, testing, documentation, and demonstration of new software capabilities
  • Research and analyze customer requests, industry standards, and specifications to help define requirements
  • Work collaboratively with software developers to build well-designed, robust, and high-quality software
  • Represent Esri by providing best practices, user documentation, and technical assistance for the product
  • Work and deliver results within given constraints of time and resources in our agile software development life-cycle
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to identify product needs and partner with product management and software development teams to build impactful products that deliver true value to our users

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities
  • Professional experience supporting commercial software development
  • Demonstrated professional experience developing, executing, and interpreting automated, functional, regression, and performance tests
  • Enthusiasm for improving software capabilities for end users in real-world application
  • Bachelor's in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, computer science, or STEM related field

Recommended Qualifications
  • Experience using monitoring tools in real-world scenarios
  • Experience using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Enterprise, and/or ArcGIS Online
  • Experience with ArcGIS Aviation, aeronautical charting, airports, or similar products and areas
  • Experience with complex enterprise systems
  • Master's in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, computer science, or STEM related field

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$74,984-$128,544 USD
