We are currently seeking substitute paraprofessionals to fill immediate openings across New Jersey.

Job Overview:
A substitute paraprofessional collaborates with the classroom teacher to provide additional support for students with special needs, promoting optimal academic and personal development. The responsibilities of a substitute paraprofessional include supplementing standard classroom curriculum and offering individualized assistance.
Substitute paraprofessionals may also be referred to as school aides, teacher assistants, instructional aides, one-to-one aides, and personal care assistants.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instructional support to individual students or small groups
- Assist the teacher in maintaining classroom order and overseeing the general supervision of the class
- Support administrative tasks such as setting up equipment and preparing materials
- Supervise students during cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallway activities, field trips, and/or before and after school programs
- Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
- Support students with special needs by adhering to provisions outlined in their IEPs/504 Plans
- Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher and school administration
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
Hourly Compensation: $13-$22
Salary : $13 - $22
