CACFP Nutrition Manager
The role of the CACFP Manager is to coordinate and supervise the CACFP staff in preparing and delivering meals after the normal school hours.
The Manager will report to the Nutrition Director.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the menu selection, order food and supplies on a weekly basis
- Inventory items monthly
- Oversee meal prep and food safety
- Supervise CACFP staff and ensure meals are delivered on a timely basis
- Maintain all production and student attendance records, and adjust food prep accordingly.
- Maintain staff timesheets
- Maintain budget costs.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance
- Fill in position, as needed.
Qualifications
- Clear motor vehicle driving record
- Currently employed as a nutrition manager with Baldwin County Schools
- Excellent attendance
- Excellent written and verbal communications with staff, principals and leaders
- Excellent supervisory skills and ability to resolve disciplinary issues
