What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sustitute Expanded Learning Program position at ESS Education?
As a Substitute Expanded Learning Assistant at FCUSD, you’ll play an important role in supporting student learning outside of regular school hours. This role involves engaging students in a variety of academic, enrichment, and recreational activities, all while ensuring a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Under the guidance of a supervisor, you will help foster both students' academic growth and their social-emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support student learning through diverse activities.
- Engage students in meaningful and interactive experiences.
- Assist with routine clerical tasks as needed.
- Supervise students during non-school hours in a safe and structured setting.
- Integrate educational activities that enhance student learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One of the following:
- Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or
- 48 college units beyond high school or
- Successful completion of the district or county test in reading, math, and writing (as per the No Child Left Behind Act).
- TB test clearance.
- Department of Justice background check.
