Safety Manager
Full Time / Salary Position
Reports to Director of Operations
JOB PURPOSE
Provide solutions to our customers and leadership to the company through overseeing the general health/safety policies, procedures, and trainings for the company while ensuring compliance with OSHA; as well as other state, local, and industry specific regulations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and enhancing overall safety procedures for company
- Developing and enhancing safety curriculum and training implementation across company services
- Proper documentation to track safety trainings and safety violations
- Collaborate with division leaders to make sure safety practices are being emphasized
- Ensure a safe workplace through safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material procedures, site visits, and the use of PPE
- Oversee incident reporting procedures
- Implement initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents
- Conduct internal audits
- Complete prequalification registration requirements for clients
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
SKILLS
- Communicating effectively with customers and teammates
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient understanding of OSHA guidelines, safety procedures, and legal requirements
- Competent to train and educate employees to build safety awareness
- Construction/mechanical background preferred
- Computer competency

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
