Unarmed Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and potential threats are addressed promptly.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, ensuring that security measures are in place and functioning effectively.
• To monitor activities and gather evidence when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries while maintaining security protocols.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, inbound/outbound vehicles, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing necessary information or assistance during investigations.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures to respond effectively in crisis situations.

Requirements

• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• First aid and CPR certification is desirable but not required.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be physically able, walking extensive distances and sitting for long periods of time on downtime.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
