**Rotational Schedule: Four (4) weeks on and Two (2) weeks off **

**Both Day and Night Shifts - Seven (7) days a week and Twelve (12) hour shift.

ESS is the market leader in providing remote food service and related support assistance to clients, wherever their location, no matter how extreme the environment may be.

As we expand into the Nevada area, we are seeking experienced oil field/remote site professionals to join our growing team.

We are looking for a Front Desk Clerk to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Front Desk Clerk's responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel or remote site industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes and acknowledges guests with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
  • Anticipates guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
  • Speaks to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
  • Answers telephones using appropriate etiquette, transfers calls to appropriate person/department, takes and relays messages.
  • Processes all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and activating room key.
  • Processes all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
  • Processes all check-outs including resolving any late disputed charges.
  • Answers, records, and processes all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Follow ups with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
  • Coordinates with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and to report guest concerns.
  • Communicates parking procedures to guest and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
  • Provides guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
  • Runs daily reports, identify any special requests and check reports for accuracy.
  • Assigns rooms according to guest request and preferences whenever possible.
  • Completes designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Balances and drop receipts according to accounting specifications.
  • Practices safety standards at all times. Know all hotel specific emergency procedures.
  • Complies with Record Retention, Standard Operating Procedures and daily responsibilities.
  • Assists team with training, supplies and support in order to consistently provide a quality guest room and public areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 84 per week
