Essco Calibration Laboratory located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts is New England’s largest and most diverse calibration and repair laboratory, provides calibration services and solutions to thousands of prominent high tech businesses worldwide. Due to our diverse capabilities and our growing local service area making deliveries and pick-ups within a 150 mile radius of our Chelmsford, Massachusetts lab has created an opening for an experienced Driver to join our company. The successful candidate will work with the Shipping / Receiving Team Leader to assure timely deliveries and accurately receive orders by paying close attention to detail. Ensure shipping documents are correctly received and processed and instruments are properly packed and organized for safe shipment. Maintain a high level of organization and cross-train in other areas of Shipping / Receiving as necessary.

Requirements :
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assure timely pick-ups and deliveries by driving to and from customer sites safely, within posted speed limits, and wearing seat belts.
- Packing the vans per procedure using Essco and customer packing material when specified.
- Ensure documents are correctly received and processed paying close attention to detail.
- Document all unusual situations, special requests and instrument damage.
- Dress in the appropriate uniform and maintain a pleasant and professional rapport with our customers.
- Maintain a high level of organization.
- Keep trucks clean inside and out and alert Team Leader of maintenance issues.
- Take direction from Team Leader and customer service reps, when on route.
- Make extra stops when necessary to satisfy customers.
- Work over time as necessary to satisfy customers.
- Your Team Leader will assign work each morning and hold periodic team meetings to review results, identify and resolve issues, solicit ideas and implement change.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
