Job Summary: The Punch Prep Technician is responsible for preparing and setting up equipment and materials for the punch press operation and performing fire caulking tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and Preparation:
- Prepare and set up punch press machines according to production requirements.
- Load materials into machines and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
- Perform pre-operation inspections to verify that equipment is functioning correctly.
- Fire Caulking:
- Apply fire-resistant caulking to designated areas to maintain fire barriers and prevent the spread of fire.
- Ensure that caulking materials meet fire safety codes and standards.
- Inspect and repair existing caulking to maintain effective fire resistance.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of punch press machines.
