Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team. The Audiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. This role requires expertise in aseptic techniques, medical imaging, diagnostic evaluation, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and physiology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing tests and evaluations
- Interpret test results to determine the extent of hearing loss
- Provide recommendations for treatment options such as hearing aids or cochlear implants
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address patients' overall health needs
- Stay current on advancements in audiology research and technology
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, medical imaging, diagnostic evaluation, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassion and empathy for patients with hearing impairments
