## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures and assisting in the diagnosis of breast diseases.
## Duties
- Conduct mammography screenings and diagnostic exams
- Position patients correctly and operate mammography equipment
- Ensure images are of high quality for accurate interpretation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for patient care
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulations
## Experience
- Prior experience in mammography or related field preferred
- Knowledge of urgent care, aseptic technique, and diagnostic radiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology
- Experience in emergency medicine, ER, or Level I Trauma Center is a plus
- Proficiency in PET scans and diagnostic evaluation
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PET scan, CT, and X-Ray imaging
- Strong knowledge of Physiology, Medical terminology, and Anatomy
- Experience in Mammography and DEXA scan procedures
- Familiarity with Aseptic technique in medical imaging
- Ability to work in an Urgent care setting and Level I Trauma Center
- Knowledge of Nuclear medicine and Sonography is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
