ESSEN is currently seeking Full-Time Clinical Assistants for our New York City Divisions, primarily in the Bronx
The selected candidates will be responsible to work throughout the various divisions in the New York City area. As a Clinical Assistant, you will gain valuable experience and knowledge within the medical field that will assist you with your future career.
As a Clinical Assistants you will assist the providers in day to day tasks such as, taking clinical notes, updating medical records, performing tests, monitoring patient’s vitals and clinical data audits.
Clinical Assistants play a very important role in assisting the providers to deliver the highest quality of personalized healthcare service to our patients. Essen provides unique medical research, population health projects and externship opportunities, as well as access to clinical academic programs to qualifying medical graduates.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- International Medical School Graduation or completion of 2 years in an International Medical School required
- United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) passed scores preferred but not required
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG) Certification preferred but not required for IMGs
- Excellent Customer service skills preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Passion to help others and ensuring best patients care practices
- Team player
- Strong clinical knowledge and proficient in medical terminology
- Must be comfortable with EMR navigation - preferably e-ClinicalWorks
- Computer savvy / Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
