Summary: The General Manager is responsible for providing inspired leadership for the operation for one of our organization's lines of business, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies. This role involves managing staff, optimizing resources, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing the quality of patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
· Participates in development of long-range strategic plans, governance structure and objectives for practice management.
· Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the practice
· Demonstrate and promote the organization's philosophy of excellent customer service and high-quality care.
· Provides leadership and guidance to office personnel and administrative direction to clinical staff
· Responsible for training and evaluating office personnel and the administrative functions of all staff
· Provide direct oversight and supervision of billing operations
· Coordinates services and the equipment necessary to enhance the day-to-day clinic operations.
· Trains and educates staff on daily functions of the system computer programs for all staff.
· Manage the office's staff, interviewing, hiring, training, progressive discipline, dismissals, performance appraisals, and
employee relations.
· Schedule staff and allocate resources across hours of operation to maximize patient access and satisfaction, provider
productivity and efficiency, staff productivity, cost-savings, and operational efficiencies
· Identify and communicate priorities, timelines and accountabilities to ensure efficient use of resources and to promote and open
and productive work environment.
· Promotes reporting of events and tracks trends to identify potential improvement opportunities.
· Serve as an active participant in corporate committees and task forces
· Promotes a work environment conducive to high levels of team member satisfaction by being responsive to team member concern.
Required Qualifications
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Medical Background preferred (Medical Assistant, Nurse, Physical Therapist, Physician Assistant)
- Three (3) years’ healthcare management experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish speaking is highly preferred
- Efficient in Microsoft Office
