Job Overview
Essence Homecare is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need of care, such as seniors or individuals with disabilities.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with household tasks and meal preparation
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior
- Support clients with mobility issues
- Medication reminders
-Errands/doctors appointment
- Engage clients in activities that stimulate their physical and mental well-being
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving or related fields such as childcare, assisted living, or senior care
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic healthcare practices
- Understanding of resident rights and ethical care standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle behavior management challenges with empathy and professionalism
- Familiarity with dementia care practices
- Certification in first aid is preferred
