Supply Chain Transportation Intern
Scheduled Hours: Remote, 8:00am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $20/hour
Major Responsibilities:
- Participate in a variety of professional development activities to gain practical experience in the application of academic skills toward the solution of business problems
- Perform project work assisting the department with developing procedures, operational tools, or business analysis
- May compile business or operational data to assist in developing business solutions for department or organizational problems
- Completes 1-2 assigned projects, taking approximately 6-8 weeks for research, data analysis, and formulating a recommendation to senior leadership for improvement. The project will end with a 30-minute presentation to senior leadership.

Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Leadership, communication, and change management skills. Ability to communicate and persuade at the management level.

- Capability to influence decision-making and instill credibility in customers and peers through meeting strategic and tactical objectives, deadlines, and budgets.
- Data-driven with an analytical acumen.
- Natural curiosity to ask questions, learn, and interpret findings.
- Microsoft Office 365 Programs (E.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working cross-functionally and within a team environment
Education and Experience:
- Actively pursuing a four-year degree with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026 or sooner.
- Preferred degree would be business focused: Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Management, etc.
- Preferred (but not required) minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0
- Eligibility to work in the United States
