Lead Application Developer
Major Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of system architecture for Stibo Systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Work with development leadership, architects, and other stakeholders across the organization to drive the implementation of new applications
- Produce functional and technical specifications
- Analyze, review and alter Stibo business rules to increase operating efficiency or adapt new requirements
- Understands the business domain of products supported
- Design, develop and deliver assigned development projects/tasks within agreed schedule, quality and scope expectations
- Gather and document end-user requirements
- Create test scripts and perform scripted testing
- Provide operational support of key applications
- Provide off hours production support
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge Required
- Deep understanding of Stibo Systems STEP (Master Data Management platform), including design, configuration, and customization.
- Proficiency in integrating Stibo STEP with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, and external data sources.
- In-depth knowledge of Master Data Management principles, including data governance, data quality, and lifecycle management.
- Experience in defining data models, data governance frameworks, and implementing MDM solutions across different domains (e.g., product, customer, supplier).
- Strong experience with data integration techniques, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, APIs, and web services.
- Expertise in connecting Stibo STEP with other systems, such as ERP, CRM, and data lakes.
- Expertise in data modeling and defining data structures that support business requirements within Stibo STEP.
- Proficiency in developing and integrating APIs and web services for external system integrations and data exchanges with Stibo STEP.
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and other communication protocols.
- Lead technical teams in the development and implementation of Stibo-related solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Strong understanding of Java, JavaScript, XML, XSD, and JSON.
- Strong understanding of pattern matching and regular expressions.

- Linux and Windows
- Experience in Java development
- Experience in JavaScript or Angular
- Experience in API’s and Web Services
- Working experience of RDBMS and SQL
- Experience with multiple operating systems: Linux/Unix/Windows
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in a production setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Experience mentoring less experienced staff to provide guidance and direction
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment
- Scrum Master certification a plus
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree) required
Experience
- 6 years of experience with Stibo Systems, specifically in implementing, managing, and optimizing Stibo STEP (Stibo Systems' MDM platform).
- 6 years of Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality standards, and data integration processes.
- 6 years of Experience in designing and maintaining data models, workflows, and data governance policies within the Stibo platform.
- 4 years of proven track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
