Job Description : Seeking a Basic Care Aide to serve at Oak Crossing, Essentia Health's highly-rated long-term care facility in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This employee provides basic care for residents that doesn't require certification. They also assist with meal service. This is a casual, as needed position that picks up available shifts, primarily in the evening. Every other weekend is required, as well as some holidays. - Adoption Assistance What You'll Do : Responsible to assist the licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal cares per individualized care plans to maintain the personal comfort of the resident as assigned. Works to maintain a clean, safe and organized environment for the residents. Assists with basic personal cares, including assistance in with meal setup and water pass. Provides activity and exercise for the residents as assigned. Assists residents in dealing with psychosocial needs. Responsible for observing and reporting any changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor. Completes all required documentation in a complete and timely manner. May assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned. Licensure / Certification Qualifications : Must successfully complete the facility required training courses.
