Job Description:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Essentia Health, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care to our patients. This includes assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing, as well as providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to patients
- Assist with transfer and positioning of patients
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- Respond to patient calls and requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
Requirements:
Qualifications for this role include six months of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a recognized nurse aide training program. Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire is also required.
