Job Title: Nursing Assistant
Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to residents of a skilled nursing facility, prioritizing their safety and comfort within the scope of the nursing assistant role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
- Recognize and address the challenges associated with aging
- Monitor and promptly report any changes in resident condition to shift nurses
- Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for residents
Teamwork and Collaboration:
Works as an integral member of the nursing department, administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians under direct supervision. Interacts with internal and external customers in a professional manner, ensuring resident safety.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of satisfactory work experience in a nursing assistant position
- Previous experience in long-term care is preferred
- Completion of a recognized nursing aide program
- Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer date

Work Schedule:
