Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Operator and Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including administering ionizing radiation, providing patient services, and assisting with department workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures using radiographic modalities.
- Administer ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide patient services, including specimen collection and processing.
- Assist with department workflow by completing exams in EPIC/PACS and cleaning/stocking exam rooms.
Requirements
- Graduate from a Medical Laboratory Assistant Program or complete an internal MLA training program within 1 year of hire.
- Complete Basic Radiographic Operator training and successfully pass the Minnesota Radiology Exam within 3 months of hire.
- North Dakota: Must hold current Limited X-ray machine Operator (LXMO) licensure through the North Dakota Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDBMIRT) upon hire.
- Valid MN Department of Health x-ray Operator Certificate or ND Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners certificate, dependent on state of work location.
