About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner - ICU to join our team at St Marys Hospital - Detroit Lakes. As a nurse practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and specialty care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary and specialty care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current nursing license in the state(s) of employment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 1 year of hire or transfer
