Enjoy NO scheduled weekends, only fill in as needed. As a Medical Technologist (MLS), you will :

• Perform and report tests of all complexity levels, as defined by CLIA, on patients of all ages to assist with routine screening, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and injuries.
• Interpret and correlate test results with disease states and theoretical knowledge.
• Exhibit Problem Solving Skills
• Participate in Quality Assurance, Quality Control monitoring, instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
• May be required to perform phlebotomy and specimen processing duties.
• Participate in research, development, education, and technical consultation.Meets Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) guidelines for the complexity of laboratory testing.

Education Qualifications :

Graduate of a four-year degree program in an accredited school of clinical laboratory science, or equivalent discipline.

Licensure / Certification Qualifications :

Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP), Medical Technologist (ASCP), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (NCA) or equivalent is required within one year from the date of hire.
