What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Sourcing :
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, goods, and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and align sourcing initiatives with overall business objectives.
Supplier Management :
Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers, while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones. Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations to ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Negotiation and Contract Management :
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Draft, review, and manage contracts to safeguard the interests of the company and optimize value from supplier relationships.
Cost Management :
Continuously evaluate market trends, conduct cost analyses, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product / service quality.
Monitor and report key cost metrics to senior management regularly.
Risk Management :
Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the sourcing process.
Compliance :
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all sourcing activities.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
