Part-time Preschool Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment by utilizing effective behavior management techniques.
• Provide individualized support and tutoring to children as needed, ensuring each child’s unique learning needs are met.
• Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns related to child welfare.
• Facilitate early intervention strategies for children who may require additional support in areas such as special education or developmental delays.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in lesson planning, behavior management, and child welfare practices.
• Knowledge of early intervention techniques and special education principles is a plus.
• Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.01 per hour
