Job Title: General Laborer – Essential Fencing

Job Summary:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our fencing team. This position involves assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of fences, including wood, chain-link, vinyl, and aluminum fencing. The ideal candidate is physically fit, enjoys working outdoors, and can work efficiently in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and repair of fences at residential, commercial, and industrial sites
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Dig post holes and set fence posts using manual and power tools
- Measure and cut materials to fit project specifications
- Secure fence panels, posts, and gates using appropriate fasteners and techniques
- Operate basic hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, and post-hole diggers
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite, following all safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with transporting materials and equipment to job sites
- Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members
- Perform other general labor duties as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience in fencing, construction, or outdoor labor preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy materials (50 lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
