What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Essential Personnel?
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our client's team. The Material Handler will be responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, and forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus. The ideal candidate should have the ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; the ability to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
Requirements for Material Handler :
1 year of warehouse experience preferred
Forklift and crane experience preferred
CDL is a plus
Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
Responsibilities for Material Handler :
Store materials in designated areas
Pick, pack, and scan orders accurately
Operate forklift and crane equipment as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist with inventory control and cycle counting
