Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a construction project located in Zwolle, LA. The Project Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing occupational health and safety on the construction project, and will be working very closely with the on-site project management team to ensure subcontractor compliance with company and facility safety policies/procedures. The Project Safety Manager will be responsible for coordinating with other contractors working on site, reviewing project safety plans, JSAs, conduct/lead project safety meetings, conduct safety observations of field construction activities, respond and investigate incidents, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience in Commercial or Industrial Construction
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulations
- Experience in Health & Safety Training
- Certifications in safety-related fields preferred (CHST, CSST, COSS, OSHA 30, etc.)
- Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience
Benefits
- $40-$45/hour (x1.5/overtime hour) (pay dependent upon experience)
