Essential Therapy Solutions started in 2007 in response to the overwhelming number of families in our Arizona community requiring services. We obtained school contracts as well as becoming a Qualified Vendor with the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). We also contracted with other agencies holding Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) contracts to deliver services to the birth to 3 population.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development or Developmental Therapy. Essential Therapy Solutions specializes in developmentally appropriate programs and services for young children and their families. More about this position:
- Developmental Specialists will work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team in order to provide evaluations, assessments, planning, and ongoing services in collaborations with the child's family and other community representatives
- Demonstrate knowledge in Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) and the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) policies and Professionalism, Child Development, Family Professional Partnerships, Teaming, Assessment and Evaluation, Planning and Intervention
- Developmental Specialists act as the Team Lead (Primary Coach) for a family or support other disciplines as a Joint Visitor in one-on-one sessions
- Developmental Specialists are part of the Early Intervention team consisting of Service Coordinators, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, Vision and Hearing Teachers
- Supports and services are conducted in a natural environment (typically home, daycare, park, etc.) in context of the family's typical routines and activities so that information is meaningful and directly relevant to supporting the child
- Flexible schedule, you and your teams make the schedule! Please be willing to work the occasional evenings or weekends, as needed for service provision to families.
- Services may be provided with a hybrid approach using teleintervention (Zoom) should the family prefer.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement or Family Studies or closely related field. Masters in Early Education or Special Education a plus. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
- At least 6 months of experience working with children under the age of 5
- Two years of pediatric experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Eligible for Class One Fingerprint Clearance
- Ability to lift 25 pounds from floor to standing
