We are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team at Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NY.
About the Role
- This is a full-time position with various shifts available.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bed baths, shaving, and dressing.
- Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake.
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment by making beds and keeping resident spaces organized.
- Transport residents within the facility.
- Prevent bedsores by turning bedridden residents regularly.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
Requirements
- Must be able to work effectively as a team member.
- Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
- Current CNA State Certification.
- In good standing with the State Registry.
